Thymalin is a peptide fraction extracted from calf thymus tissue. It is one of several thymic preparations developed and used clinically in Russia.

How it acts on the body

Russian literature reports broader clinical use — from chronic infection to oncology — than Western data support, but the underlying mechanism (thymic-axis support) is well-aligned with current immunosenescence research.
