SNAP-8 extends the Argireline sequence in an attempt to improve its affinity for the SNARE complex. In manufacturer data the wrinkle depth reduction is larger than Argireline at the same concentration; independent data are sparse.

Like Argireline, it is a topical-only cosmetic tool and not a substitute for neuromodulator injections in someone seeking that level of effect.
